I'm hoppin' around my kitchen this week making all sorts of Easter chocolates for my customers but just had to take the time to share these cute Easter Bunny Pretzel Pops with you. I have a few minutes, so this is going to be a quick post. 

I don't often talk about where I shop for the supplies and ingredients that I use for my blog posts, but I wanted to let you know that I found the cute bunny pail, the sweet carrot icing decorations, bags of Jordan Almonds, and white Hershey-ets all at Target.

Easter Bunny Pretzel Pops

You'll Need:

pretzel rods
melted and tempered white chocolate or melted confectionery coating (Candy Melts)
2 white Jordan almonds per bunny
pink food coloring marker
2 candy eyes per bunny
1 pink confetti sprinkle per bunny
black food coloring marker
2 white candy coated chocolates - Hershey-ets
1 carrot icing decoration per bunny

TIP to keep the chocolate from cracking on your pretzels. Chocolate shrinks as it cools and when it shrinks onto something hard, it usually cracks. If you take the pretzels out of the bag and allow them to sit at room temperature for several hours or overnight they will soften just enough to keep this from happening, but not enough to become stale.

Dip Pretzels in White Chocolate

Pour melted white chocolate into a tall glass. Dip pretzel into the chocolate, lift it out, shake it, and allow excess chocolate to drip back into the glass. I usually hold my pretzel, allowing the chocolate to begin to set, for about 30 seconds before placing it on my parchment paper lined baking sheet. I end up with nice round pretzels that way. 

If using pure tempered white chocolate, refrigerate the pretzels for about 4-5 minutes. If using confectionery coating (Candy Melts) place in the freezer for 2-3 minutes.

Dip a pretzel back into the white chocolate, giving it a second coat.

How to make Easter Bunny Pretzel Pops

Draw pink ovals on one side of each white Jordan Almond to make them look like bunny ears using a pink food coloring marker. Attach them to the top of the pretzel using melted white chocolate. 

Attach two candy eyes, a pink confetti sprinkle nose, and a candy carrot. Draw two lines on each of white candy coated chocolate pieces to make paws and attach them on either side of the candy carrot. 

Draw on a mouth, buck teeth and whiskers using a black food coloring marker. 

Easter Pretzels

Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
